From her home studio Eileen teaches adult art classes with a focus on Colour theory. Using a variety of mediums including sculpture and installation, Eileen aims to show the beauty and ephemeral quality in the surrounding natural environment.
“By slowing the pace, being still and present, I strive to become more attuned to the richness and variety in nature. Drawing out more and more information to respond to in painting. Living close to the beach and the stunning natural environment of the Fleurieu Peninsula informs my work and I aim to respond to this intuitively. This inspiration can result in abstract or figurative work.”
