Dog Ridge
I first met Jen Wright at art school, painting next to each other we shared our connection with wine making. Jen and hubby, Dave own and run Dog Ridge. They have taken a back seat now and spend a fair bit of time fishing on the Yorke Peninsula but are still available when the work load increases. On the day I arrived I found them both cheerfully helping out with sweeping sand on the new paved area out the front of the cellar door. It will be lovely when the sun is shining with its outlook onto the very same eucalypts that housed the koalas in the calendar picture. You might be lucky to spot them while you sip on a wine. There is also a dedicated gallery space here with interesting art to view.
